Last updated 9 June 2026. This notice describes how Tech Crowd Sdn Bhd processes personal data under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 of Malaysia ("PDPA").

1. Data controller

Tech Crowd Sdn Bhd (the "Company", "we", "us") is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Our registered address is 20, Jalan BPI 4, Bandar Puchong Utama, 47100 Puchong, Selangor, Malaysia.

2. Personal data we collect

We collect the personal data you submit through our enquiry form: name, company, work email, phone (optional), and the contents of your enquiry. We also collect aggregated technical metadata about your visit (page views, referrer, country-level location) through privacy-respecting analytics that do not use cookies or unique identifiers.

3. Purposes of processing

  • To respond to your enquiry and to maintain a record of our correspondence.
  • To provide quotations, proposals or scoping for the products and services you have asked about.
  • To improve the content and structure of this website using aggregated analytics.

4. Disclosure

We do not sell personal data. We share personal data only with: (i) the vendors named in any quotation or order you instruct us to place on your behalf; (ii) authorised distributors required to process such orders; and (iii) service providers under written agreement that bind them to confidentiality and PDPA-equivalent safeguards.

5. Retention

Enquiry data is retained for up to 24 months from last meaningful interaction, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised. Data tied to active customer relationships is retained for the duration of the engagement plus statutory accounting periods.

6. Your rights under the PDPA

7. Cookies and analytics

This website does not set tracking cookies. We use a cookieless analytics provider (Plausible) which records aggregated page-view statistics without unique identifiers, fingerprinting, or cross-site tracking. Essential cookies may be set only by embedded Google Maps content on the Contact page when interacted with.

8. Cross-border transfers

Some service providers (e.g. our form-delivery and analytics providers) may process data outside Malaysia. We rely on the recipient's PDPA-equivalent safeguards or contractual commitments before transferring personal data outside Malaysia.

9. Updates

We may update this notice from time to time. Material changes will be flagged on this page with a revised "last updated" date. Continued use of this website constitutes acceptance of the updated notice.
